Welcome Back!

“Knowledge generates interest, and interest generates compassion.” Doug Tallamy

Over the past week, Chadwick Arboretum has been welcoming back students, faculty, and staff into our gardens.  We always love to see our gardens again the core component of so many lives – a place to study plants, ecology, landscape architecture, and more – while also serving as a unique place of respite and wellness to enjoy during our busy schedules.

Every new year welcomes new faces to our campus and we are eager to meet as many as possible! As a Chadwick Arboretum Friend, please help us in this endeavor by telling people about us. We have a few events upcoming that are especially good time to connect (or reconnect) with us and with nature.

Upcoming Events

Gather at the Garden: Welcome Back Open House | Bring your lunch to Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens and we'll provide some drinks and desserts, as well as short tours around the Learning Gardens every 30 minutes.

Tree ID Workshop with Kathy Smith | Have you ever found that the more you learn about a subject, the more fascinating it becomes? We think tree identification is one of the most fun and easy ways to step into understanding the natural world around you!
