The November-December issue of the Ohio State Alumni Magazine recognizes the value of trees on our campus. Click "Trees contribute mightily to campus environment" and go to page 8 to read the entire article. The article, written by Beth Lindsmith with wonderful illustrations by Dennis Balogh describes the benefits of trees on campus and gives a compelling argument for 'owning' a tree on campus.
Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens Director, Mary Maloney is quoted as saying "You need not be a world-class athlete to have a buckeye or oak in your name. For a $1,200 donation to Chadwick, you, too, can have your own Ohio State tree. Wouldn’t that be marvelous? You could have your own tree to visit when you came back to campus.”
If you are interested in 'owning' a tree on the Ohio State University Columbus campus, please contact Jen Heller, Director of Development at heller.4@osu.edu.
