Tree Giveway with OSU Medical Center's Green Team - Multiple Locations

Earth Day Tree Giveway

Are you a OSU employee or staff member? The OSU Medical Center's Green Team and Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens invite you to pick up a free tree seedling of your choice at the location nearest you for Earth Day this year!  We are giving away four different species of trees, including a redbud, red oak, burr oak, and river birch. 

On Thursday, April 21st, 2022, there will be 3 pickup sites around campus to choose from at the times specified: 

1. Ackerman Road Picnic Shelter (Behind 660 Ackerman):
   1. 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
   2. 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. 
2. Herrick transport hub (Main campus near 12th Ave.)
   1.  7:00 a.m - 9:00 a.m.
   2.  3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
3. Chadwick Arboretum: Howlett Hall Turn-Around:  2001 Fyffe Court
   1. 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.* 

Simply email your selected pickup location and time to reserve your tree to: sustainability@osumc.edu 

    *No reservations required at the Chadwick Arboretum location
