Spring into greenery at Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens! Join us for our annual Spring Plant Sale Fundraiser and dive into a lush world of botanical delights. With over 16,000 fresh, exotic, and time-tested edible and ornamental plants, there's something for every green thumb!
Experience the thrill of our tree and shrub auctions, where you can bid on unique specimens to enhance your garden sanctuary. Step into our Learning Lab, where engaging educational demonstrations on various garden topics will unfold throughout the three-day sale, enriching your knowledge and inspiring your green endeavors. Take part in an exciting, live auction offered each day. Explore vendor booths brimming with gardening essentials and delightful treasures. And while you shop 'til you drop, indulge in delectable treats from a delicious, local food truck. Proceeds from this event go directly to The Ohio State Chadwick Arboretum, student organizations, and local businesses alike.

Members Only Night: Thursday, 5/9/24: 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Open to public: Friday, 5/10/24: 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 5/11/24: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

- Auctions: Join Grant Phipps, Auctioneer, at our daily live tree and shrub auctions, and enjoy a silent auction on Thursday and Friday.
- Food and Drinks: Barbeque Texas (Friday), J-Pops (Friday), McGinnis Grill (Saturday, including breakfast and coffee)
- Bevel's Sharpening Service can sharpen your tools while you shop on Friday and Saturday. (read more here)

- Pursuit of Ecological Balance: Native plant kits and designs
- Horticulture Therapy Pots: Hand painted pots and bird houses that support our Horticulture Therapy program at Chadwick Arboretum
- Hypertufa Troughs: Handcrafted and planted hypertufa containers grown by Chadwick Volunteer Allen Fabian
- Plant Pathology Graduate Student Association: Native Plants grown from seed by students
- Crops and Soils Club: Tomatos and peppers grown from seed by students
- BLM Begonias: Multiple cultivars of begonias, sold by a student organization who aims to support Black Columbus Communities through the sale of begonias and begonia-related items.
Know Before You Go:
- Please park across the street in the Bill Davis Stadium Parking lot and use the crosswalks when walking to the plant sale site.
- Consider bringing a wagon to help carry your plants, especially if you are coming Thursday night or Friday afternoon. But, no need to worry about loading your car - our volunteers will do this for you!
