  1. Members-Only Night: 38th Annual Spring Plant Sale and Auction Fundraiser

    May 8, 2025, 4:00pm - 8:00pm

    Members-Only Reception The members-only gala includes plenty of fun activities including a both live and silent auction, hors d'oeuvres by Steven's Catering, 16,000 plants, vendors, and a place to ask your gardening questions at the Ask a Master Gardener Booth! Enjoy live entertainment while you get the first opportunity to shop Chadwick Arboretum plants for 10% off.

  2. We Grow Scientists

    Join us for the annual ‘We Grow Scientists’ event! April 30, 2025 3:00-7:00PM The Ohio State University’s College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) will host the third annual “We Grow Scientists” event on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 3:00-7:00 PM at Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory.

  6. #6 Plastic Recycling!

    Plastic collection is still ongoing! Recycle #6 plastics into a garden bench! Chadwick Arboretum is helping the Green Team Employee Resource Group create a locally-made bench from plastics! This bench will be placed at the “Earth Day Park” on Medical Campus.

  9. Winter Solstice Labyrinth Walk and Conifer Tour

    Dec 23, 2024, 4:00pm - 7:00pm

    Note: The date has been changed to December 23 due to the OSU vs Tennessee game on December 21. This winter solstice, celebrate the first day of winter with Chadwick Arboretum for our annual Winter Solstice Labyrinth Walk. Enjoy the peace of an open fire, roasted chestnuts, and hot cocoa while exploring our luminary-lit gardens and meditative labyrinth. This family-friendly event is free and open to everyone. 

  10. Pi Alpha Xi (PAX) Poinsettia Fundraiser

    Dec 4, 2024, 7:30am - 6:00pm

    December 4th & 5th 7:30a.m.- 6p.m. Support OSU’s honorary floriculture and ornamental horticulture student organization, Pi Alpha Xi (PAX), and Chadwick Arboretum while purchasing beautiful poinsettias, festive flowers, wreaths, and other holiday-themed items. Handmade specialty items created by Chadwick Arboretum Volunteers include candle centerpieces, holiday containers, door swags, and more. These specialty items can only be purchased in-person.
