Chadwick Arboretum invites you to celebrate Arbor Day 2022 with us during our annual Arbor Day Awards Ceremony!
Since 1984, Chadwick Arboretum has hosted the annual Arbor Day observances at Ohio State University. The OSU Arbor Day celebration features the dedication of newly planted trees, award presentations including the Chadwick Award given to those individuals who "speak for the trees," and serves as a time to renew OSU's committment to the Tree Campus USA Certification.
This event takes place rain or shine under the Kottman Hall Patio. Convenient parking for $2.50/hour is located at the Plumb Hall Parking Lot, next to Plumb Hall.

10:00 a.m.: Welcome and Opening Remarks with Pam Bennett
10:10 a.m. - 10: 30 a.m.: Tree Campus USA Certification presentation, Dedication of Trees newly planted on campus, and Award Presentations
2022 Chadwick Award: Dr. Kristina Johnson, 16th President of The Ohio State University
For her work to increase the OSU campus tree canopy through the 1000 tree initiative in 2021.
