ArboBlitz 2024
Primary tabs
Help create a legacy at The Ohio State University by planting 20 trees on campus in collaboration with The Ohio State University’s Facilities, Operations, and Development team and Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens.
You do not need to know how to plant trees to participate - we will teach you! Bring a water, closed-toe shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing that can get a little dirty - this event is rain or shine!
More information will be sent to those who RSVP the week before the event. Please recruit your friends and family to join too - everyone who plants a tree will receive a free Buckeye Tree botanical print from our Emmanuel Rudolph Collection!
P.S. The first 15 people to sign-up can receive a free garage parking pass!
Additional Information:
Chadwick Arboretum can provide you with our volunteer parking voucher, which allows you to park in any A, B, or C parking spot in a surface lot. Please note that is does not work in parking garages. The nearest surface lots are North along Cannon Drive, with the most easily accessible being around the Ohio Stadium which is about a 10–15-minute walk to the planting site along Cannon Drive. If you would like a Chadwick volunteer parking pass to park in a surface lot and have not previously been given the code, please email me with your license plate number before arriving.
Otherwise, the most accessible and closest parking will be in the Wexner Medical Center Garage directly across from the site. Find information on hourly parking rates here: https://osu.campusparc.com/find-parking/wexner-medical-center-garage/
Some other things to know:
- Stop by the info table when you arrive to receive a Chadwick Volunteer t-shirt!
- You are welcome to bring your own tools, but please make sure they are labeled so they don’t get lost.
- Snacks and water provided.
