Every fall, Chadwick Arboretum teams up with the rest of campus to plant a lot of big trees in 3 hours. Then, the following Arbor Day, we dedicate those trees in honor of the wonderful people that will receive a "Chadwick Award" for Speaking for the Trees.
This year, we need 30-40 volunteers to bring their shovels, knowledge, and sense of purpose to the Ohio Union along High Street. You do not need to know how to plant trees to participate - we will teach you! However, if you do have previous experience, consider being a team lead.
More information will be sent to those who RSVP the week before the event. Please recruit your friends and family to join too! Everyone who plants a tree will receive a free Buckeye tree botanical print from our Emmanuel Rudolph Collection!
