Becoming a Friend of Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens is one of the best ways to sustain our mission of providing an extensive and diverse plant collection for education, research, and enjoyment. Because we are largely self-supporting, the generous contributions of our members are essential for our operations and programs, helping us to buy the plants, tools, and other resources that are needed to run a public garden. Additionally, membership is an investment in the future of horticulture. Your membership dollars enable us to hire student workers and provide hands-on training that gives them public garden experience. In turn, this valuable experience helps our students become successful horticulturalists. Support of programs such as the Trial Gardens, Phenology Garden, Tree Campus Certification, and Horticultural Therapy Garden provides lasting benefits for home gardeners, the agricultural industry, our university, and our community.
It is the generous support of our members that sustains us and makes our gardens grow!
