• Fall Plant Sale – September 3-4, 8:00am – 6:00pm - A variety of native trees, herbaceous perennials, mums, and fall blooming annuals will be offered! Location: Howlett Hall, 2001 Fyffe Ct., Columbus, OH 43210

• Volunteer Recognition– September 11, 6:30pm

• Pi Alpha Xi (PAX) Poinsettia Sale - Discover new and unusual varieties of poinsettia for your holiday display!  The students of PAX will be holding their annual fundraiser December 2 -3, 7:00am- 6:00pm at Howlett Greenhouse on OSU campus, 680 Vernon-Tharp Rd, Columbus, OH 43210.

• Volunteer Holiday Potluck - volunteers and guests Thursday December 3, 6:00pm

• Winter Solstice - Celebrate winter solstice with us! Savor roasted chestnuts, drink hot cider, and walk the illuminated labyrinth on Thursday December 17th at 5:30pm - 7:00pm.  This is a free event!  Location - Lane Avenue Gardens near the Agricultural Administration, 2120 Fyffe Rd., Columbus, OH 43210

• A Full Moon Sunrise - Join us for a celestial phenomenon - a gorgeous rising sun and setting snow moon on Thursday March 12th, 7:00am.  Location: Jones Memorial Plaza north of Chadwick Lake.  Parking at the Ohio 4H Center, 2201 Fred Taylor Dr, Columbus OH 43210.  Light refreshments, all are welcome!

• Renewing and Rejuvenating Evergreen and Deciduous Shrubs Pruning Seminar - For Chadwick volunteers, Saturday March 14, 9:30am
•  Permacultrue Lecture - Learn about the ecological design principle that benefits people and their environment.  Speakers Deb Knapke and Josh Beniston will give an overview of earth patterns in nature and design, and techniques for incorporating permaculture in your garden.  Saturday April 11, 9:00am-12:00pm.   This event is free and open to the public.  Location: Kottman Hall room 103, 2021 Coffey Rd, Columbus , OH 43210.  Park in lots next to Kottman.

• Arbor Day Celebration - On this day we will dedicate a tree to our veterans, the men and women who chose a career in service to their fellow Americans. We remember the sacrifices made on our behalf and honor them this Arbor Day. Friday April 24 at 10:00am.  Columnist Mike Harden from the Columbus Dispatch will be the featured speaker. Location: Colour Columbus Native Tree Collection, north of the Ohio 4H Center.  Parking in the Bill Davis Baseball Stadium lot. 

• Spring Plant Sale, Auctions & Garden Fair: May 7-9 Thursday, May 7 - 6:00-9:00pm is the Pre-Sale event for Friends of the Chadwick Arboretum (Memberships available at the door). Friday, May 8, 7:00am - 7:00pm - General Public Saturday, May 9, 8:00am - 3:00pm - General Public Location :Vivian Hall at the corner of Lane & Fyffe Rd, 2121 Fyffe Road, Columbus, OH 43210.

• Sculpture Dedication - Help us celebrate the installation of new sculptures in our horticultural therapy garden on Friday May 29, 10:00am.  The artists are from Open Door Studio which gives individuals with disabilities the opportunity to discover their expressive freedom.  Location:Howlett Hall, 2001 Fyffe Ct., Columbus, OH 43210

• Sustainable Rose Gardening - June 4, 6:30 -7:30pm details to follow. Location:Howlett Hall room 116, 2001 Fyffe Ct., Columbus, OH 43210

• Rain Garden Workshop - June 6, 9:00am-12:00pm, Speakers from FSWCD, the Franklin County Master Gardener Green Team, and Scioto Gardens will discuss the the importance of rain gardens, plant material, and the basics of installation.  Ohio 4-H Center, ballroom, 2201 Fred Taylor Drive, Columbus, OH 43210.

• OFA Reception - Industry guests and volunteers July 13, 6:00pm

• Open House  - Please join us as we celebrate our gardens on Sunday, July 19, from 2:00pm-5:00pm.  Enjoy root beer floats, music and garden tours - this is a free event! Location: Howlett Hall, 2001 Fyffe Ct., Columbus, OH 43210
